Everbuild Anchorset Green 300 300ml is a high-performance, rapid-curing chemical anchoring system designed to create strong and dependable fixings in concrete, brickwork and other suitable masonry substrates. It is ideal for securing threaded rods, studs, bolts, starter bars, wall ties, railings, brackets and machinery where a conventional mechanical fixing may not provide the required performance.

The styrene-free formulation produces a lower odour than traditional styrene-based anchor resins, making it a practical choice for internal and external installations. Its unique EASY-FLOW twin-bag cartridge contains the resin components in the correct 10:1 ratio and allows the product to be dispensed using a standard, good-quality sealant gun.

As the two components pass through the static mixing nozzle, they combine to form a consistent grey anchoring resin. Once injected into the correctly prepared hole, the product cures around the fixing to create a strong, solid connection with the surrounding substrate.

High-Strength Chemical Anchoring

Chemical anchors secure fixings without relying on the expansion pressure created by many traditional mechanical anchors. This makes Everbuild Anchorset Green 300 particularly useful where high-strength anchoring is required or where the fixing is positioned close to an edge, although all spacing and edge-distance requirements must still be followed.

The cured resin provides high compressive and tensile strength. Manufacturer data states a compressive strength of approximately 60N/mm² after 24 hours and 70N/mm² after seven days when tested at 20°C. Tensile strength is approximately 11.5N/mm² after 24 hours and 12.2N/mm² after seven days under the stated test conditions.

Actual fixing performance depends on the substrate, fixing diameter, hole dimensions, embedment depth, installation quality and curing conditions. Load-bearing installations should always be designed using the manufacturer’s technical information and appropriate engineering calculations.

However, the hole must still be prepared in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, and all drilling debris, standing contamination and loose material must be removed before the resin is injected.

Wet-condition capability should not be confused with suitability for every underwater or continuously immersed application. Where an anchor will be exposed to permanent immersion, chemicals, aggressive environments or safety-critical loads, seek project-specific technical advice before installation.

ETA Approvals

Everbuild Anchorset Green 300 holds European Technical Assessment approvals for anchoring threaded bars into uncracked concrete and for suitable masonry installations. These approvals provide tested performance data for correctly specified and installed anchoring systems.

The appropriate anchor diameter, hole size, embedment depth, edge distance and spacing must be selected for the substrate and required load. The manufacturer’s design tables and current Product Data Sheet should be consulted before completing structural or heavy-duty installations.

Preparing the Drilled Hole

Correct hole preparation is essential. An inadequately cleaned hole may prevent the resin from bonding directly to the substrate and substantially reduce the anchor’s load capacity.

Drill the hole to the required diameter and depth, ideally using a rotary percussion drill where suitable. The hole should have a coarse internal surface to support adhesion. If diamond drilling is used, the smooth sides must be thoroughly roughened before continuing.

Remove all dust and debris using the cleaning method stated in the Product Data Sheet. This will usually involve a hand air pump and a suitable stiff rotary brush. Repeat the cleaning process as required so that loose drilling dust does not remain on the sides or at the bottom of the hole.

Threaded rods, studs and reinforcing bars must be clean and free from oil, grease, dirt and loose rust. Threaded rods or studs should be chisel-ended where directed to prevent them from being unscrewed from the cured resin.

How to Apply Everbuild Anchorset Green 300

  1. Confirm that the product, substrate and fixing are suitable for the required application and load.
  2. Drill the hole to the correct diameter and embedment depth.
  3. Clean the hole thoroughly using a suitable brush and air pump.
  4. Ensure the threaded rod, stud or bar is clean and free from contamination.
  5. Place the 300ml cartridge into a suitable standard sealant gun.
  6. Remove the cap and attach the correct static mixing nozzle.
  7. Dispense the initial material until a completely uniform grey colour is achieved.
  8. Starting at the back of the hole, inject the resin while gradually withdrawing the nozzle.
  9. Fill the hole sufficiently without trapping air pockets.
  10. Insert the fixing using a slow twisting motion so that the resin surrounds it completely.
  11. Position the fixing correctly before the stated gel time expires.
  12. Do not move or load the fixing until the minimum curing time has elapsed.

For overhead, hollow-masonry or specialist applications, additional sleeves, nozzles or accessories may be required. Always use accessories approved for the selected anchoring system.

Gel and Loading Times

Curing speed varies according to temperature. At temperatures between 20°C and 25°C, Anchorset Green 300 has an approximate gel time of five minutes and a minimum loading time of around 50 minutes. Between 10°C and 20°C, the gel time increases to approximately six minutes and the minimum loading time to around 85 minutes.

At lower temperatures, substantially more time must be allowed. At 5°C to 10°C, the stated minimum loading time is approximately 145 minutes. Higher temperatures shorten both the working and curing periods, so all materials, holes and fixings should be prepared before dispensing begins.

These times are manufacturer guidelines and must not replace the current Product Data Sheet or project-specific calculations. Never apply the intended load before the resin has cured for the required period.

Easy Twin-Bag Cartridge

The twin-bag system keeps the two resin components separate until application. This helps provide accurate mixing through the static nozzle and allows the 300ml cartridge to fit a standard sealant gun, avoiding the need for a specialist twin-cartridge applicator.

If work is paused long enough for the resin to cure inside the nozzle, replace it with a new compatible mixing nozzle before continuing. Never attempt to force cured material through a blocked nozzle, as excessive pressure may damage the cartridge or application gun.

Important Limitations

Chemical anchor performance is highly dependent on correct specification and installation. Do not select fixing dimensions or load capacities by guesswork. Substrate strength, anchor diameter, hole depth, spacing, edge distance and load direction must all be considered.

The product should not be used in unknown, weak or damaged substrates without appropriate testing. Hollow masonry may require an approved perforated sleeve. Safety-critical, structural and overhead fixings should be designed or approved by a suitably qualified professional.

Storage and Safe Handling

Store Everbuild Anchorset Green 300 in cool, dry conditions between approximately +5°C and +25°C, protected from direct sunlight. The stated shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored correctly in its original unopened packaging.

Wear suitable gloves and eye protection, avoid skin and eye contact and work in a well-ventilated area. Consult the current product label, Product Data Sheet and separate safety information for both resin components before use.
