Bring the surfaces together while the adhesive remains open and workable. Press firmly and use a slight twisting movement where appropriate to spread the adhesive and establish good contact. The extended open time provides an opportunity for careful repositioning after the initial placement. Once correctly aligned, apply firm, even pressure across the bonded area.
Drying time depends on the temperature, ventilation, humidity, porosity of the materials and thickness of the applied bead. Cold conditions, thick applications and less absorbent surfaces will extend the curing period. Do not place the bond under significant load until the adhesive has dried and developed sufficient strength.
Important limitations
This product is intended for compatible non-structural bonding work. It must not be relied upon instead of structural anchors, load-bearing fasteners or required safety fixings. At least one surface should normally be porous, as bonding two non-porous materials together can prevent moisture from escaping and significantly delay curing.
Check suitability before using the adhesive on mirrors, natural stone, flexible plastics, plasticised PVC, bituminous materials or specialist surface coatings.
