Ronseal Diamond Hard Garage Floor Paint 2.5l
Ronseal Diamond Hard Garage Floor Paint is a tough, durable floor coating designed specifically for concrete and stone garage floors. Formulated to withstand the demands of busy garages and workshops, it provides a hard-wearing satin finish that helps protect flooring from everyday knocks, scuffs, scratches and common automotive spills.
Suitable for both bare and previously painted floors, Ronseal Diamond Hard Garage Floor Paint is ideal for refreshing tired garage floors or adding extra protection to newly prepared surfaces. Once fully hardened, the coating is tough enough to park a vehicle on, making it a practical choice for domestic garages, workshops and other areas where a durable floor finish is required.
Diamond Hard Floor Protection
Garage floors are exposed to considerably more wear than many other areas around the home. Vehicle traffic, tools, equipment and regular foot traffic can all contribute to scratches, marks and general deterioration.
Ronseal Diamond Hard Garage Floor Paint is specifically formulated to provide a durable protective coating for these demanding environments. Once fully cured, the surface is designed to resist scuffs and scratches while creating a smart, easy-to-maintain finish.
The paint also helps prevent oil, grease and petrol spills from staining the floor, making it particularly useful in garages where vehicles, machinery or automotive products are regularly stored and maintained.
Suitable for Concrete and Stone Floors
Ronseal Diamond Hard Garage Floor Paint is suitable for concrete and stone garage floors and can be applied to both bare and previously painted surfaces.
Correct preparation is important when painting a garage floor. Newly laid concrete should be allowed to cure for approximately one month before painting. Bare concrete should also be thoroughly cleaned to remove dust, dirt, oil and grease before the coating is applied.
Previously painted floors should be cleaned thoroughly and any loose or poorly adhered existing coatings should be dealt with before repainting. Proper surface preparation helps improve adhesion and ensures the finished floor provides dependable long-term performance.
The product should not be used on self-levelling compound or power/powder-floated flooring, so the type of floor should always be checked before application.
Tough Satin Finish
In addition to protecting the floor, Ronseal Diamond Hard Garage Floor Paint provides an attractive satin finish that can instantly improve the appearance of an older garage.
A painted garage floor can make the space look cleaner and more organised while helping cover staining and discolouration that cannot be removed through normal cleaning. This makes it a useful choice whether your garage is primarily used for parking, storage, DIY projects or workshop activities.
The paint is available in a selection of practical colours, allowing the floor to be coordinated with the surrounding garage or workshop.
Easy Brush or Roller Application
Ronseal Diamond Hard Garage Floor Paint can be applied using a brush, roller or suitable floor application pad. For larger garage floors, a roller provides a convenient way to cover the surface quickly and evenly.
Ronseal recommends applying two to three coats, with three coats providing maximum protection. Around four to six hours should be allowed between coats. The floor can normally be walked over after this period, although the coating takes approximately 72 hours to become fully hard. Vehicles and heavy items should therefore be kept off the surface until it has completely cured.
The paint provides coverage of up to approximately 12m² per litre, depending on the condition and porosity of the surface. It is also water-based, making brushes and application equipment easier to clean after use.
Ideal for Garages and Workshops
Whether you are renovating an older garage, improving a home workshop or simply looking for a more durable finish for a concrete floor, Ronseal Diamond Hard Garage Floor Paint provides a practical combination of protection and decoration.
Its resistance to scratches, scuffs, oil, grease and petrol makes it particularly well suited to areas where vehicles and equipment are regularly used. With a durable satin finish and diamond hard protection, it provides a reliable way to refresh and protect concrete or stone garage flooring.
